Started in 2007, Friends for Asia focuses on developing international volunteer projects that assist local communities come over challenges, and benefit volunteers with the experience they gain their project. Since our first volunteer, we’ve had a little over 300 volunteers from over 20 nationalities participate in our volunteer and intern projects.
Bali is our latest spot for project set up. Throughout our volunteer project planning and development, we’ll soon have a variety of volunteer and intern projects for you and others throughout the world to come and contribute and learn from this beautiful and rich cultural and society.
Friends for Asia Mission Statement
The mission of Friends for Asia is twofold. First, we offer an opportunity for people to meaningfully contribute to the improvement of standards of living by building capacity in our host agencies. Secondly, we provide committed volunteers to work on projects developed with host agencies that benefit the people of Thailand.

Mix and match a few different volunteer projects or dedicate your time to one project. Our professional staff are there to help and support you throughout the volunteer experience.
